Step 1
Use the DentalHue Impression Kit to make an accurate impression of your teeth by following the step-by-step instructions in the kit. Then return it so we can begin the next step in the process. Once the whitening tray is made, we will ship it to you along with the desired number of whitening syringes.
Step 2
Once we receive your impression, our team will begin creating a precise plaster model of your teeth. This model allows us to design and mold a custom whitening tray specifically for you.
Step 3
Your custom-made whitening tray will be carefully packaged and shipped to you, along with the desired number of whitening syringes. Should you need more whitening treatments later, you can always order more, so that you can give your smile the care and attention it deserves.

Why do teeth vary in color?
Some people have naturally whiter teeth than others. The color of teeth is determined by the thickness and shade of the dentin. The enamel, which is almost transparent, lies over the dentin. The thicker the dentin, the yellower the tooth will appear. This is often genetically determined. Since canines are thicker than front teeth and contain more dentin, they often appear yellower.
Over time, teeth darken in color, partly due to pigments from food and drinks. Age also plays a role. You will notice that your teeth darken as you get older. This happens because dentin continues to form throughout your life, while the enamel layer gradually becomes thinner due to wear over time.

What is the result of bleaching?
The result largely depends on the natural color of your teeth. Depending on your eating and drinking habits, your teeth can start to discolor again after one to four years. Smoking and oral hygiene also affect the color of your teeth. You can safely repeat the treatment every few years to freshen up the color of your teeth. In addition, it is important to brush your teeth at least twice a day, use interdental brushes or floss regularly, and visit the dentist or dental hygienist for preventive check-ups.
What should I do if my print fails?
The kit comes standard with two different sizes of bits. If the impression does not fit properly, meaning that the edge of the bit is visible in the impression, it is likely that you need a larger size. The kit includes enough impression material for 4 impressions, so if one or more fail, you can try again.
